CALM reportThe work in compiling the CALM database has been carried out on behalf of CALM (Christian Adult Learning Meeting), an ecumenical coordinating sub-group of Churches Together in England for those with a national responsibility in their church or denomination for promoting adult Christian education and lifelong learning. The project has been guided by an ecumenical steering group, drawn from the CALM membership, and has been supported by the Jerusalem Trust, which has itself been represented on the steering group. The research on which the report is based was carried out between July and September 2000. This report seeks to describe and to some extent examine work carried out by churches and other agencies looking at the extent and nature of Christian adult learning in England and Wales. You can download the full report in Rich Text Format (RTF) suitable for reading by Microsoft Word and other word processors. Alternatively, you can read the report on-line as a web document. Because of the report's length, this will take a few seconds to load into your browser.
